This beautiful listed property lies on the outskirts of Bath, it is dated early 1800’s and is split into four stunning dwellings. Although the floors of this dwelling are not original, they compliment the period features of the property. They are likely to date from the 1950s, when the house was first converted into residential dwellings. The floors comprise of delightful narrow, tongue in groove, oak planks.
The clients was looking to liven up their floors to make the space lighter and brighter. When I first viewed the floors they were dull and tired, all previous coatings had worn leaving the floors unprotected. The client wanted a floor that would be easy to maintain, they decided upon Bona Traffic HD, a clear polyurethane product, they chose silk matt finish. The photographs illustrate how the finished floors really did liven up the building.
